Choosing Appropriate Therapies and Getting the Patient Onboard.

This training tool  is particularly useful if you are relatively new to diabetes or if you feel that you need an update. It covers all the topics below and is designed to be undertaken in bite sized chunks, not all in one go.

A brand new course aimed at primary care professionals, including GPs, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

The course is designed to educate primary care professionals in the essentials of delivering effective, engaging and safe diabetes care.

Diabetes as a RightCare priority programme

The prevalence rates of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes has been identified to be higher in people with a learning disability compared to the general population. To ensure the same care is available to people with a learning disability, NHS RightCare has published its NHS RightCare Pathway for Diabetes: reasonable adjustments for people with a learning disability.
